Process for Requesting Collaboration with CWGHR
If you are interested in collaborating with CWGHR on a proposal, please submit an overview (~1-2 pages) with the following:
- project title, lead investigator and contact information
- other team members and their affiliations
- research purpose and objectives
- length of project (# of years)
- overview of why this research is important (approximately 1 paragraph)
- description of how this research fits within CWGHR's Strategic Plan
- description of how this fits with CWGHR's Scoping Study of research priorities in HIV and rehabilitation
- description of the specific role(s) that you see CWGHR playing in this project
Please submit the above no later than 2 months prior to the proposal deadline.
The overview will be reviewed internally by CWGHR staff who comprise the CWGHR Research Partnership Committee. This committee will not involve anyone who is applying to this competition. No information about the submissions will be shared outside of the committee. CWGHR will determine their ability to collaborate based on how closely the proposed research aligns with CWGHR's strategic directions and research priorities, as well taking into account CWGHR's resources and capacity to meaningfully participate in the research at a given time.
CWGHR will respond to investigators within 2 weeks of the collaboration request.
If you have any questions about the above process, please feel free to contact Elisse Zack at ezack@hivandrehab.ca.
Thank you for your interest in collaborating with CWGHR!
