Jordan Lewis, MSW RSW
Jordan Lewis is a Social Worker in the HIV team at St. Michael's Hospital. He has worked on this team for over eight years. Over the years as a Social Worker, he has extensive experience working with marginalized populations that include: homelessness, mental health, palliative care, addictions and HIV. Because of his experience with vulnerable populations, Jordan is very passionate about speaking to make a difference. He has designed and implemented a comprehensive interactive workshop dealing with chronic illness and mental health. This workshop has been very well received and taught to a diverse group of professionals. Jordan has also has spoken extensively to Universities and conferences throughout Canada. Jordan won the Education Excellence award at St. Michael's Hospital in 2007. He is also a valued member of Habitat Healing, a collective of professionals who provide counseling and education to the community. Despite all of Jordan’s teaching credentials, he is still unable to get his four year-old son to listen.
